Point Grey Research's Imaging Products line includes all of our single-lens IEEE-1394 (FireWire) and USB 2.0 CCD and CMOS cameras. All Imaging Products are provided as a complete hardware and software system. The FlyCapture® Software Development Kit provides a common software interface to control all Point Grey Imaging Products and is currently bundled with every imaging product.

The Scorpion™ IEEE-1394 camera platform, available with a variety of CCD image sensors, is designed for demanding imaging applications.

  • 12-bit analog-to-digital converter

  • 32-bit standard PCI slot for the IEEE-1394 card

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 (to compile and run example code)

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
