Grasshopper2 Dual Bus
The new high-speed Grasshopper®2 line of digital cameras uses a unique dual-bus architecture to achieve data rates up to 160 MBytes/s. This allows a variety of new high resolution, quad output Kodak CCD’s to be integrated into a compact and cost effective digital camera and run at their full frame rates. The Grasshopper2 is ideal for applications in industrial and machine vision such as semiconductor inspection, automated optical inspection (AOI), test and measurement, and high-speed assembly.

with the same interface and C/C++ API for both Windows and Linux, supports multiple camera interfaces, allows users to develop applications using common programming languages, and provides
ActiveX, TWAIN, and DirectShow interfaces.
